Welcome!

I was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, a suburb outside of Detroit. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA and later earned my Masters from Marygrove College. I recently earned my PE endorsement from Madonna University. This is my second year teaching in Norway Schools. Before moving to the UP, I taught for 15 years. I have taught mathematics from Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus as well as high school English, including AP Literature and AP Language. I was part of the team that developed and implemented the Common Core Units for mathematics for Oakland County. Additionally, the last two summers I presented at the Michigan Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference.
